As we’ve shared over the past few months, LCA’s Board has begun a journey to discern and plan for the future of our facility. We are working with a Christian consultancy and real estate team (Reléven.org) that specializes in helping churches move forward with prayer, discernment, and strategic clarity.

Our church continues to grow — not only in numbers, but in faith and vision. To take the next step, we need God’s help and your prayers as we face some key challenges:

• Our current facility requires major repairs and upgrades (A/C, electrical, structural, and more).

• The space no longer accommodates our growing congregation.

• Renting out half the building has become a distraction and drain on ministry time.

• The City of Laval will not allow us to expand on this site, and any changes to our use risk our zoning as a place of worship. 

Thanks to your generosity, we have already raised $15,000 to commission the Reléven team and begin this process of discernment!!

Summer Progress:

• Reléven completed an evaluation of our current property.

• Time was spent identifying both present and future facility needs.

• The team provided their professional opinion on the strengths and limitations of our building.

• Our Board has now commissioned them to investigate credible alternative properties before we decide on any next steps.

Our next meeting with Reléven will take place at the end of this month.
