Changes to Online Church & Prioritizing Community

From time to time, churches must make difficult choices to fulfill their calling to serve Christ effectively with limited resources. With this in mind, we have decided to “Prioritize Community.”

What does this mean? Moving forward, we’ve decided to focus primarily on the growing number of people attending in person while still attempting to serve those connecting with LCA’s online services.

Due to the limitations of technically trained volunteers and the small number of people watching our services on YouTube, we have decided to scale down our Sunday operations. To support our technical and music teams, we will now broadcast ONLY THE SERMON segment of the service at MIDDAY for the foreseeable future.

We apologize if this decision is disappointing. We ask for your grace as our tech and music teams navigate this change. Additionally, for those who are physically able, we encourage you to prioritize attending Sunday morning services in person and “not neglect our meeting together” (Hebrews 10:25), as some have become accustomed to doing since the pandemic. We miss you when you’re online!

In the meantime, we are excited about the increasing number of people the Lord is sending to LCA each Sunday, and we remain committed to serving our wonderful church family to the best of our ability.

Thank you in advance for your understanding.
