J. —Shepherding in Jerusalem
PAOC global worker J. pastors an international church in Jerusalem. It is a diverse congregation of local believers and international Christians. In a city marked by deep political, cultural, and religious tensions, J. fosters spiritual growth through biblical teaching, discipleship, pastoral care, and community-building. He longs to see the church reflect Christ’s unity—offering His hope and love in a complex environment.
J. also dedicates himself to research and writing on reconciliation and thoughtful Christian responses to conflict. He aims to encourage believers to pursue peace, deepen their understanding of Scripture, and faithfully engage the challenges facing the region.
Please pray:
- for wisdom, endurance, and discernment as J. serves in a challenging context.
- for the congregation to be a place of hope, love, and faithful witness.
- for J.’s writing to effectively encourage believers to engage in peacemaking and reconciliation.
- for courage and protection for Arab and Jewish followers of Jesus as they point others to Him.
